Sicamous Senior Assistance Services

Seniors Services Society of BC provides older adults 60+ with information and guidance on housing and support program options to enhance their lives and help them live comfortably and safely in their homes.

The Shuswap Family Resource and Referral Society supports children and youth, individuals and families and provides referrals and connections for services in our community and area.

The Family Centre has many resources available to individuals and seniors in our community. 

Together with people with lived experience, we mobilize a broad community of care and support research into the disease to ensure people affected by dementia are not alone. 

Home and community care facilities provide a range of health care and support services for eligible residents who have acute, chronic, palliative or rehabilitative health care needs. These services are designed to complement and supplement, but not replace the efforts of individuals to care for themselves with the assistance of family, friends and community.

The range of services includes home based services such as assessment and case management, nursing, rehabilitation, home support and palliative care.

Eagle Valley Senior Citizens Housing Society (EVSCHS) is a non-profit organization that offers housing services to seniors and people living with disabilities; promoting their independence, dignity and wellness in a safe and secure environment. EVSCHS offers three levels of housing in beautiful Sicamous, B.C; comprised of The Haven, The Lodge and The Manor. They are all located within walking distance of each other. Our facilities boast amenities that will ensure our residents live comfortably, and conveniently located one block from Downtown Sicamous and the shores of Shuswap Lake.

The Sicamous & District Senior’s Centre Society is an activity centre for local seniors…they offer coffee meetings, lunch and activities, host events.
